Details on Gulliver’s Gate:
Gulliver’s Gate is a newly opened $40-million-dollar attraction in the heart of Times Square, expected to draw well over one million annual visitors. Featuring more than 300 built-to-scale models of scenes from around the universe, Gulliver’s Gate includes hundreds of moving model trains and vehicles, ships that sail and planes that take off and land, with plans to add to the current displays, as well as build new displays in the future. In addition to the state-of-the-art models, Gulliver’s Gate offers all guests the opportunity to create miniature versions of themselves through a full-body scanner and 3D printer, which they can keep as a souvenir or leave behind to become a part of the attraction.
Just launched for the holidays a fun, “iSpy” scavenger hunt for guests who visit from now throughout December, complete with surprises including The Grinch, Grandma getting run over by a reindeer, Santa lounging on a beach, Elsa from Frozen, and so much more – all shrunken down to 1:87 their actual size (images below)!
Guests are given a checklist upon arrival and challenged to look very closely at the tiny world. Those who successfully find all of the items on the checklist will be entered into a contest to win a 3D model of themselves (a $130 value) – the winner will be announced on December 30th.
Opening hours are from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, with last entry at 8:30 p.m. For additional information and to purchase tickets online.
