  1. My favorite holiday tradition is each year decorating our tree together. We have appetizers and sparkling cider for dinner and make a party of it,

  2. mine is hiding the Christmas pickerel in the tree the elf on the shelf and minny others in my home i try teaching my kid all the different traditions a round the world

  3. My favorite holiday tradition is getting up, and turning on the Thanksgiving Day Parade, while starting preparations for the Big Dinner, and when parade is over -play music as I am cooking. Then after dinner, sit and have an eggnog. This year is just me and my boyfriend so we are just going to enjoy our day.

  4. My favorite holiday tradition is we always let our kids open ONE present on Christmas Eve, then on Christmas morning (usually 6am!) they get to open everything! Happy Holidays everyone!

  5. My favorite is going to Christmas eve mass then riding around looking at lights and then going out to dinner with my family.

  6. My favorite holiday tradition is every year before me and my family eat our Thanksgiving dinner we gather around the table and go around the room take turns saying what we are all thankful for!

  7. Our favorite tradition is an all edible decorations for the Christmas tree, something my mom started. We have decorated cookies, string with popcorn and cranberries, candy canes, gold coins, popcorn balls. We don’t mind taking the tree down as we eat so much of it!

  8. My favorite holiday tradition is watching little ones open presents. however another one i enjoy is watching as the little stay to stay up until midnight, and watching as there eyes start to drift down.

  9. Every year on the Sunday before Christmas, the women in the family get together to make lots of cookies and candies. Thanks.

  10. My favorite tradition is spending quality time with my family. We put all electronics up and talk bake and just have good ole fun

  11. definitely, fave and cherished our yearly dated hallmark ornaments…mom started for us in the 70s…some now very rare and very collectible.

  12. My sister and I bake every year. We meet up and make some of the same stuff my grandma use to make and some of our favorites. Then we can trade with each other and have twice the variety of homemade goodies.

  13. Well, since my older sister got married, we’ve always made a trip to her house around the holidays. When I was still living at home, my dad, brother, and I would go up the day after Thanksgiving. Now that I’m older and have my own family, my daughters and I go up on or around Christmas for one day. It’s about 3 hours drive each way so it’s not that far. I just wish my youngest would be home to go with us this year.

  14. My favorite tradition is the “Family Fun Night” box that we open on Christmas Eve! We fill it with new PJ’s for each of us, a family movie or board game (or both!) and yummy snacks. Then we put on our PJ’s and spend some quality time together. 🙂

  15. My favorite holiday tradition is actually the Saturday before Christmas, we have a spend the day together day where we all stay home in our pjs all day watching Christmas movies, playing games, and doing crafts together sun up to sundown.

  16. My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree with my kids and hubby! We listen to Christmas music and after the kids go to sleep, my hubby and I watch a movie while I wrap presents! Its such a good way to kick off the season!

  17. On Christmas Eve we go to my parents house with my four children. Then on the way home we drive around to look at the lights.

  18. We like making gingerbread houses. I used to make them from scratch, but it’s easier now to just buy them prebaked and decorate them.

  19. I’m notorious on Facebook for changing my profile to feature the Grinch. I’m not against Christmas, just the commercialization. My kids don’t need the biggest, newest, or best toys to prove that I love them. Christmas should be about spending time with your family and for celebrating kindness and generosity, not shopping and going into debt to buy presents.

  20. It’s not a “tradition”, per se, but we always go to Holy Mass for Christmas (and on all Sundays and Holydays) to celebrate our Lord and His loving kindness and mercy. Thanks and God Bless! ILuvTheEucharist @ aol dot com

  21. Trimming the tree. I love looking at each of the ornaments and remembering who gave them to me as well as the meaning of each one.

  22. I love the tradition of leaving our shoes out the night of the 5th for St Nicholas to fill for his day on the 6th. The 6th also happens to be my birthday and I have always loved the tradition of everyone getting a little surprise on the way to Christmas.

  23. Hands down, it’s baking with my mom (and my grandma, before she passed away) during December. We bake at least a dozen different cookies, bars, and candies, and give cookie trays as Christmas gifts, with enough left over to munch on ourselves.

  24. My favorite Christmas tradition is going to Christmas Eve service at church and then riding around looking at Christmas lights before going out to dinner for Chinese.

  25. My family tradition is watching a holiday movie marathon together on Christmas Eve. We each pick one movie so you can imagine the range of movies we share together.

  26. My favorite tradition was making decorations with my sister and mom. We didn’t have a lot of money. So, we used to make popcorn or paper decorations instead of buying them.

  27. We don’t have a lot of holiday traditions. When I was a kid, we used to open one gift on Christmas eve and the rest on Christmas morning.

  28. We dont celebrate christmas but my birthday is around the same time, so we have a good birthday party with friends and food.

  29. My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree while listening to holiday music and baking cookies at the same time.

  30. I love decorating the tree and cookies with little ones. I also l like watching the little’s try to stay up until midnight in new years eve.

  31. My favorite part of the holiday season is spending time with family and seeing their joy when I’m able to bless their lives with gifts

  33. I love Christmas baking with hubby and the kids =) We send out tins full of different treats to friends and family for Christmas!

  34. Christmas jammies are my favorite tradition! Going on 11 years now of pictures in front of the tree in our new jammies we get Christmas eve!
