Easy Ways to Save at Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A

Saving money is big for me but I don’t want to give up quality and good service to do so.  I also don’t want thing my way or think outside the gun. I want good food, good prices, and great service. this is why my go-to place is Chick-fil-A.

Contrary to popular belief you can save money at Chick-fil-A while enjoying all the awesome perks they have to offer quick service, friendly staff and most important clean bathroom and dining area.

So if you are like me and want to save a buck or two then here are a few tips that may help you out on your next visit to Chick-fil-A.

Dress Up for Cow Appreciation Day

Chick-fil-A

For 13 years, Chick-fil-A has offered free food to customers who visit the store on Cow Appreciation Day. However, there is a catch: To get your free meal, you will have to come to the restaurant clad as a bovine.

The event is scheduled for July, so you’ve already missed it for this year. But come July 2018, you better get moo-ving!

 Purchase the Cow Calendar

Chick-fil-A

Each year, Chick-fil-A offers customers a chase to purchase a  Cow Calendar that includes a card you can use to redeem “free treats” throughout the year.

November’s freebie is an order of chicken strips. Other upcoming 2017 offers include a Chick-fil-A Original, Spicy or Grilled Chicken Sandwich in December.

This year’s calendar cost $8. But if you regularly buy meals at Chick-fil-A, you can make that up pretty quickly.

Get the Chick-fil-A One app

Chick-fil-A

Download this free app, and you will get several cool perks. They include the privilege of ordering through your phone and skipping the line at pickup, as well as creating customized menus that can be used each time you order.

Best of all, you will get free treats throughout the year. Get the app here.

Put down your cellphone — and get a free treat

Chick-fil-A

Brad Williams was dismayed to see so many groups of people gathered to share a meal, yet distracted by their cellphones. So, the Chick-fil-A franchise owner in Suwanee, Georgia, decided to do something about it.

Williams hatched the “Cell Phone Coop” at his Chick-fil-A restaurant. Here is how it works:

The restaurant places a small, square box, (a.k.a. the Coop) on each table, with a simple challenge: enjoy a meal without the distraction of cellphones and receive a free Chick-fil-A Icedream®. Guests complete the challenge successfully only if cellphones remain in the Coop untouched for their entire meal.

More than 350 Chick-fil-A locations across the country now have followed suit(I know mine does). So, check with your local restaurant to see if you can “unplug” and get a free treat. Like all of the menu items, the Icedream is totally delish.

Just say no to the toy, and get a free cone

Chick-fil-A

Your kids can get a free ice cream cone if they are willing to forgo the toy that comes with Chick-fil-A kids meals. This can be hard as the toys are really awesome.

CFA kid’s meals come with a small toy or book. If your kiddo is not interested in keeping the toy or book, simply bring it up to the cashier and you can swap it for a free ice cream cone! I love this option as if like me to go often it counts done on duplicate toys or books.  plus who doesn’t love free ice cream?

Not sure if this deal is available in all regions, but there’s only one way to find out — call your local Chick-fil-A.

So there are my easy and simple tips for saving money while enjoying and awesome meal.

  1. I’ve never been to a Chik-fill-A. And I’m now a gluten-free vegetarian, so I guess i’ll never eat there. But I love the cell phone drop idea. I would love that because my husband is always on the phone. And I would love him to have incentive for leaving his phone for the meal.

  2. I knew about the cell phone coop but had no idea about dressing up like a cow! I wonder if I could paint my face and dress in appropriate colors and it would count?

  3. It’s been so long since I’ve been Chick-fil-a that I had no idea they had so many great ways to save money. The calendar is so cute and I love the idea of challenging families to enjoy a meal together sans phone.
