5 Reasons to Stay at Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

For reasons unknown to me when I travel I am on the go from the minute I step foot in a new town till I leave.  But that all changed this past week when I got a call to come visit Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa. Upon arriving in Orlando for my weekend I knew I was going to have a great time by the warm and friendly welcome I got from Rafael.

From check in to check out my stay was relaxing, fun and everything one could hope for in a resort stay. I can not stress enough how amazing this resort was and trying to narrow down my top five reasons for staying was difficult. From my balcony view, to fully equipped kitchen and service this place is a must see for any family traveling to Orlando FL.

5 Reasons you should stay at Lake Buena Vista resort village & Spa

1) Spacious fully equipped rooms

Yes whether you need a 1 or 2 bedroom suite or maybe more they have you covered. Mine was a 2 bedroom suite with enough room for us to move around. The living room was comfy with a flat screen tv. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and clean up with. Bathrooms were well stocked and we even had a jet stream tub with walk in shower in the master bath.

2) Eat at home

Because our rooms were spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed we were able to eat at our room. I like this idea because I was able to buy food I enjoyed and could still eat healthy. Plus there was no waking up early to make sure I made breakfast hours at a restaurant. another perk when we got hungry late at night I didn’t have to pay a delivery fee for pizza. I was able to just pop in a frozen pizza enjoy.

3) Reflection Spa

On the 6th floor is this amazing spa. They offer you massages, manicures and pedicures. they also have this wonderful quiet room where you can sit relax. I truly did not want to leave here. The atmosphere was so relaxing and peaceful and the pedicures are wonderful.

4) The Pool Area

This Pirate Plunge pool area is the coolest thing. Not only can the kids climb up a shop wreck and slide down. There are also sprinklers for the little ones. Plus the most amazing hot tub for adults like me who just want to relax.

5) Food and Shopping

Now if like me you like to do a little window shopping there is a mall within walking distance. Here you can find some really good deals along with good food. There is also a tiki bar and pizza hut express on the property.  Disney Springs is only a 10 minute cart ride away.

Now if all these amenities haven’t gotten you ready to pack a bag There is still the allure of Disney, Universal and Seaworld to get your excited among other exciting adventures like dinner theaters, Orlando Eye and more.  All within driving distance of the resort should you ever want to leave but trust me you won’t.

  1. THIS!!! This is calling my name! What a gorgeous and well, economical way to travel and have your own kitchen, but well, the amenities, the pool, the idea of having amazing service!! I am keeping note of this place for sure, hoping to make it south this winter.

  2. I love the pool and it looks spacious! There are some great hotels off of Disney property and people just need to find out about them!

  3. We’ve never stayed there before or really considered staying there, but I love the kitchen in the room. I hate how there is so much eating out on vacations and love the idea of just being able to make breakfast at home.

  4. I visited for the 2nd time this July/August. Lovely resort. Perfect accommodation, location and pool. Jet tub great after a tiring day in the parks. Shopping outlet next door fabulous, Walmart over the road, perfect for stocking up and Fuel station over the road. All parks about 12 minutes away by car. I’m from the UK and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Orlando. I just hope it doesn’t get so popular that It gets difficult to for us to make a booking! Will return in 2018. Pity I don’t live closer! Can’t wait this hotel is a brilliant choice.

  5. Hi Rebecca,

Hopefully you pick this up on time as flying there tomorrow but wondered if you know if the rooms have english electric sockets. I know a lot of hotels are putting both in now.

Really looking forward to going tomorrow.

    Cheers .
