My Disney Must Haves

It’s no big secret that I am a Disney addict. We go at least once a month sometimes more and yes we are those crazy people who have annual passes and will just wake up and head to Disney on a moment’s notice. Because of our tendency to just up and go without pre planning I always keep a Disney pack in the car.

What is a Disney pack you ask? Well it’s a backpack filled with all the essential items you will need for a day at the park. Come let me show you want I have in my Disney pack.

Disney

Water Bottles ~ I keep reusable collapsible water bottles in my pack for those times I don’t want to wait in line for FREE water.  Yes I said FREE. All Disney parks offer free water from their counter services you can read about what other FREE items they offer HERE.  But sometimes you just don’t’ want to wait so having reusable water bottles allow us to fill up at any water fountain.

Ponchos ~ Yes FL weather can be unpredictable and rain can happen at anytime so having ponchos helps to keep us dry and having fun.

Snacks ~ A day at the park always requires snacks. I keep things like trail mix and goldfish in the back pack. I do change these out every month but most shelf safe snacks will keep for a while.

Hat & Sunglasses ~ Hats and sunglasses are a must for protection from the sun here in FL. Even on overcast days hats and sunglasses come in handy.

Sunscreen ~ You can not spend the day in Disney without sunscreen. LOTS of sunscreen. My advice is be sure to apply often.

Disposable Camera ~ Though my camera goes with me usually always there have been times where I’ve walked out the door without it. Cell phones are awesome for taking pictures but having a disposable camera ready helps to capture those special moments as well.

Portable Charger ~ I keep a portable charger in my bag for when your cell phone just decides it’s done and the battery wants to die.

Let’s Talk: Do you have a Disney pack or even a travel pack? Is there something I haven’t got in mine that you think I should?

  1. I agree with all of the above. I bring my actual camera, though, not a disposable one. I have to make sure I bring lots of batteries with me 🙂

    • I usually do take my camera but sometimes we decide to go after making a quick trip to the gas station. So the disposable is for back up only. We are crazy like that.

  2. We are going in August 2016, and I can’t wait. My boys will be 17 and 15, and this is their first trip to Disney. I am starting to get all our stuff together, and I am in the process of finding the perfect backpack. Thanks for the information!

  3. I don’t think you’re crazy. When I lived in Davenport, I went to Disney DAILY! I am also a Disney fan-addict. Your pack looks pretty complete to me, however, I think I would also throw in a swim suit in case you decide to leave one of the traditional parks and head to Blizzard Beach for an impromptu water park visit.

  4. How awesome to have the Disney passes. We always had Cedar Point passes growing up and would go on a whim too. It was awesome but only seasonal. To be able to go any day of the year would rock even more. 🙂

  5. We are going there this Fall. Thanks for those tips! I will add those to the bag I’ll be carrying! The poncho and a energy snack sounds great!! I would love to be able to go to Disney at the spur of the moment! How fun!

  6. Rebecca I envy that you are close enough to have a Disney pack for quick trips. For us it is a 2500 mile trek and about 10 suitcases. While in the park we have all the items listed plus strollers lol
