Weighing In WK#9

Everyday Life

Good morning my friends and fellow healthy living family. This week on Weight Watchers  filled with surprises, fun and lots of activity. Between winning a meet and greet with Kris Allen, attending a birthday party, traveling back in time to a medieval fair and the beautiful warm weather things here have been a whirl wind. The good thing about all this is that I stayed active. I walked the fair several time I logged it at about 5 miles by the time we did three rounds. I danced my booty off at the concert for 2.5 hours. Then at the birthday party I played tag, hula hooped and climbed a tree. On top of all that I’ve been able to move my bike riding outside for a few days. So on exercise front I got plenty and I did it by doing everyday fun stuff who knew you could earn activity points by just playing games.

On the food front that didn’t go as well as I would like I ate some birthday cake with ice cream and at the fair I gave in and ate a funnel cake even though i had bonus points I was trying not to use them all but failed terribly on this front. Yep not only did I eat my daily points I ate bonus and tapped into activity points so this week I have to make better choices for sure.

I did get in lots of water and cut back on herbal tea and even my coffee. Now after all this excitement and revelations I faced the scale and was very surprise to see a loss. I guess playing tag and hula hooping paid off and burned those extra calories but I’m so not eating that way this week again regardless.

  1. Literally pumping the air right now Becca, I am so bloody proud of you, a pound is absolutely excellent, never forget that so long as you're seeing a loss every week then there's nothing at all wrong with that. Imagine the disappointment you'd feel if you ended up putting that pound on though, never let that pound come back, keep doing what you're doing and let's aim for another loss this week, you can do it!

  2. I am on Weight Watchers also and just signed up for a challenge where you get paid to lose weight. I am on a team with only 2 of us so far but we need 3 more before they hook us up with another group. Would you like to join us and try and win $10,000? Email me if you are interested. No this is not a solicitation. It's real. 🙂

  3. I'm on a no white diet plus I now eat on a cake plate 9 times out of 10 instead of a dinner plate. I think it tricks my brain telling it my plate is full… cool! I also threw away the oil, and the only time I use oil is for my husband's food, but not all the time. I now use the different flavors of spray. I especially like spraying my veggies with the butter spray & NO CALORIES, but has the flavor. woo hoo Don't worry about cheating. YOUR LIFE IS NOT TO PUNISH YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU'RE OVERWEIGHT BECAUSE YOU DON'T HATE YOU… YOU LOVE YOU SO if a child is good don't you reward the child so the child will be good again and work towards a reward. Doesn't a dog do the same thing? Aren't you as good as a child or dog??? There ya go! You didn't gain anyways! WOO HOO! YOU GO GIRL. LIVE LIFE TO ITS FULLEST! I also only eat meat once a week!

  5. How awesome!! All the activity and you are very aware of your habits, it is becoming a lifestyle change and you are doing very well. How wonderful, you lost a pound,woo-hoo!! Keep it up 🙂

  6. Weight loss is all about ups and downs. You were active so hopefully that balances out the Birthday cake. In my mind it ALWAYS does…as for the scale…sometimes it tells a different story!

  7. WONDERFUL!!!! You are doing well! Please excuse my silence this week, but my supplier has been down and I could not get into my blog or my emails, but things came good this morning, so here I am! Patrick

  8. Goodness, look at YOU! Climbing a tree and hola hooping!? That sounds like a lot of fun along with everything else you did this week 🙂

No need to regret eating bad; you can only learn from it and move on!

Just keep in mind this week is going to be great! Positive mindset is also critical when living a healthy life 🙂

  9. Would it help you meet your goal to say something nice about yourself if you had to say it on your blog? That seems to be the only goal you don't meet. 🙁 Congratulations on another pound down! Healthy weight loss is supposed to be 1-2 pounds per week, I think, so 1 a week is perfect.
